Here is a meeting place for Quakers in the suburbs of NY.
こちらはNY郊外にあるクエーカー教徒の皆さんの集会場です。

Once inside, a hearty meal was prepared by everyone who brought their own food
中に入ると皆さんの持ち寄りの心のこもった食事が用意されていました

This kind of meal is called a potluck.
こうした料理持ち寄りの食事会を『ポットラック』と呼ぶそうです。

Hiromi-san, the organizer of the screening, as well as Shoko Akiyama-san, Yuka Azuma-san, and Tony Sahara-san who are organizing the screening in Manhattan the next day, came to the event with home-cooked meals
主催のひろみさんや翌日のマンハッタンでの上映をオーガナイズしてくださる、秋山祥子さんや、東ゆかさん、トニーサハラさんも、手料理を持って駆けつけてくださいました

No, but subcritical nuclear tests are conducted.
いいえ、しかし、臨界前核実験は行われています。

SUBCRITICAL NUCLEAR ?? I googled it.
”An experiment to stop a nuclear explosion just before the critical state”
The test has been conducted by successive administrations, and this is the 34th time in total. Not only in the U.S. but also in many other nuclear weapon nations.

ググったら、こんな意味だった。
『核物質を臨界状態に至らない条件に設定して行う核実験』
アメリカの歴代政権が現時点で34回、他の核保有国でも行われていることを、このサイトで知りました。

I knew about the background radiation in the late 1970’s. My dad told me that sunsets were different after the testing occurred. Thank you for laying the case out so clearly.

This is a live show about the screening on the 19th. (They also mention live screening on the 20th and 21st.)

The screening was held on the north side of Manhattan at Westchester from 18:30 in the evening.The venue was a church in the middle of a forest.

It was hosted by Japanese people.They brought a variety of meals and had a homey screening after the meal.Many Americans also came.

The host made T-shirts.with my image printed on it,Oppenheimer with melted tooth,Einstein  with melted tooth.This T-shirt is full of satire.

Screening ended at 21:30.After driving for about 1 hour, I arrived at the hotel, cooked dinner, and ate dinner around 24:00.From 25:15, I participate in zoomon a Japanese screening.The screening was for school teachers, and there were many young people, so I was very happy.

It’s been a hard day, but I’ll do my best tomorrow.

19日の、上映会についてのライブです。（20日、21日でのライブについても触れています）

この日、夕方18:30からマンハッタンの北側ウエストチェスターにて上映会でした。会場は、森の中にポツンとある教会。日本の人たちが主催してくれました。いろんな食事を持ち寄り、食事をしたあとに開催したアットホームな上映会。アメリカの方もたくさん来てくれました。

主催の方がTシャツをつくってくれました。

僕のデザインのものと、歯がとけているオッペンハイマー、歯が溶けているアインシュタイン。風刺たっぷりのTシャツです。バッグなどもつくっていただいて、プレゼントしてくれました。

上映会が終わったのが21:30。そこから1時間ほど運転して宿につき、晩御飯つくって、ごはんを食べたのが24時ごろ。25:15からは、日本の上映会にzoom参加でした。学校の先生が対象で、若い人も多く、嬉しい上映会でした。

ハードな日々が続いていますが、明日も頑張ります。
