The screening took place at the beach resort’s library. Despite the sunny weekend, a large audience was in attendance.

ビーチリゾートにある図書館での上映会。快晴の週末であるにもかかわらず、観客が大勢集まってくれた。

Her father’s U.S. Army job took him from base to base, and he was also posted to Hiroshima. Now she and her family are suffering from breast cancer and her granddaughter has lupus.

Like the women in “Silent Fallout,” ordinary women like her may change this country more than politicians.

米軍の仕事に従事していたこちらの女性の父親は、あちこちの基地を転々とし、広島にも赴任したそうた。今、彼女も家族も乳がん患者であり、孫娘は膠原病を患っている。そんな彼女から伊東監督へ。

質問が2つあります。

なぜこの映画が、この国のすべての高校で上映されないのか知りたい。

これは若い人たちに届く必要がある。

政治が今行っているようなやり方では、注目されないだろう。むしろ、私たち自身が、このこと（この映画に描かれている事実）を広く知らせる必要がある。

政治家たちよりも、むしろ彼女のような一般女性が、この国を変えていくのかもしれない。Silent Falloutに登場する女性たちのように。

Hopefully this will inspire people to take action after seeing the successes here such as the ban on above-ground testing.

Today, I had a screening at 13:00 in Ocean City.

By simple calculation, that’s a two-hour drive.

But,at the screening yesterday, someone said that it took four hours to get to New York from Ocean City because of traffic.

So, I calculated the travel time to be longer, but I arrived late.

The venue was a well-established public library.

Hosted by a researcher from Pennsylvania.
I appreciated the many people who came and asked me many questions.

I met Mr. Mangano, who was also featured in the film, and we were able to talk about our second tour next year.

Anyway, I have been able to convey what I want to say.
The reaction of the American people has been accepted without refutation.

Yesterday I got word from a film festival in Italy that it has been officially screened.

It has been rated by many international film festivals. Thank goodness.

今日は、13時からオーシャンシティで上映会でした。

単純計算だと、車で2時間の距離なのですが

しかし昨日の上映会に、「オーシャンシティからニューヨークに来るのに渋滞で4時間かかった」と言う方がいました。

なので、今回は移動時間を多めに計算して出かけたのですが、到着が遅れてしまいました。

会場は、公共の図書館。

主催ペンシルベニアの研究者の方。
たくさんの方に来ていただき、質問もたくさんあって、ありがたかったです。

映画にも登場したマンガーノさんとお会いして、また来年第二回目のツアーをしたいという話もできました。

とにかく伝えたいことは、伝えさせてもらってます。
アメリカの人たちの反応も、反論はなく、受け入れてくださっています。

昨日、イタリアの映画祭から、公式上映が決まったと連絡が入りました。

たくさんの国際映画祭の評価をいただいています。ありがたいことです。

かなり眠たくて・・・眠いです。
もう寝ます。
